This picture was painted by Samuel Bak. He is a survivor of the Holocaust. It is titled "Interruption". Probably because the evil he lived through as a child "interrupted" his childhood. I am a survivor of childhood abuse. Thus, I chose the title of my blog and the profile picture because my childhood was also "interrupted" by an evil. I feel a deep connection to survivors.
